Mountain View Holiday Retreat  Harrietville, is a 3 Ha property  bordered by the Ovens River and the Great Alpine Road at Harrietville in North East Victoria. The Retreat is 15 minutes from Bright - and central to Mt Hotham, Mt Buffalo and Falls Creek. As the closest off mountain accommodation to Mt Hotham, Mountain View Holiday Retreat  offers an All Seasons Venue: Summer, Winter, Autumn & Spring.

Mountain View provides group accommodation for families, schools, clubs and other user groups with the capacity to accommodate up to 110 people in 20 en-suited rooms, comprising singles, doubles, twins, family suites and 4 to 8 person share combinations.

Guests may relax in the cool garden setting during the warmer months or enjoy the cosy log fire and convenient facilities for winter skiing. Relax around our 8 person spa tub, while enjoying the tastes of our local winemakers from our fine selection wine list. Enjoy the wild bird life in our wine garden area or just listen to the sounds of the nearby river.

Groups use Mountain View as a base for many adventurous activities and tours. Take advantage of the ambience at the Retreat, with the varied facilities offered, for any number of activities.

Enjoy home style meals served in our log cabin restaurant and bar, with wood heater for relaxation and comfort.
